From Pain to Power
This book began as a mini-memoir almost and evolved into a way to reach others. I used my life as a way to bridge the gap between me and the reader. I wanted the reader to be able to connect with me and know that they weren't alone. By including my life in the book, I hope the reader can receive the information the book gives to regain their power back in their life's journey.
A Reminder to Rise
I got a Phoenix tattooed on my back in 2010 as a reminder of continued growth and evolution. I had gone through some things, and I needed to remind myself that I was strong and that I would evolve into a better version of myself with every challenge that would arise.
The journey in writing this book has again been an experience where I have evolved as a new version of myself. You see, when I started writing this book, I didn't know what was going to happen. All I knew was I was going down a path on which I knew I had to finish. There were moments of doubt, fear, and anxiety but I pushed through.
In the end, my confidence is higher, my moves more purposeful and my goals set higher. Never place a limit on yourself or your abilities. Believe in yourself and be all in for YOU!
